Recovery Tips: Recommended by Kids Who Box

Recovery addresses how you should take care of your body before and after a workout. Here are a few things you can do:

  • Drink at least one liter of water after your workout.

  • Stretch at least twice a day.

  • Take a cold shower.

  • Massage your muscles, especially hands, arms, and feet.

  • Get enough sleep. At least 8 to 10 hours a day.

  • Ice your feet. Especially recommend if you have flat feet.

  • We recommend you get in the hot tub at least twice a week for at least 12 minutes (if you have one)
